SECURITY PERFORMANCE PARTNERS ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR

CHICAGO (July 5, 2007) – Jessica R. Richardson has joined Security Performance Partners,
LLC (“SPP”) the largest Mergers and Acquisitions advisory firm servicing the security alarm
industry.  Ms. Richardson formerly ran LaSalle Bank’s security alarm lending division,
managing over $300 million in security alarm loans.  She will compliment the services that
Peter Flynn and Mark Sandler (founding partners of SPP) currently provide to the security alarm
industry.

During Ms. Richardson’s 10 years at LaSalle Bank, she focused on the security alarm industry,
developing relationships with numerous capital providers and security alarm companies.  At
SPP, she will utilize these relationships to assist alarm companies raise capital – evaluating,
structuring and closing financing agreements.  An additional focus of Ms. Richardson’s will be
educating and assisting new capital providers on successfully lending to and investing in
security alarm companies.
